The Mechanism of Vision:

An official sounding term describing the way in which we take the raw visual data of light reflecting off of atoms and shape it into the succinct encapsulated world of objects.

 Made up of Two parts

seeing and looking

the mechanism

is

the key to our

SURVIVAL

Seeing:

  • Raw visual data collection

  • the large end of the funnel

  • vision before pre and post conceived notions

  • the infinite universe as a cohesive whole

  • the birth place of unity

looking:

  • Raw visual data allocation

  • the small end of the funnel

  • the source of post and preconceived notions

  • a universe made up of infinite individual parts

  • the birth place of dichotomy

Vision is the sense that the majority of us rely on to navigate

the world

if the visual foundation for understanding the world is the birthplace of dichotomy

then

the amount of

separation

you experience in

the world

is directly proportional to

where you sit on the

spectrum

The scale slides

As do we

It is a choice

Whether conscious or not

That we are constantly making.

How we wish to view the world

that is apart from us

Or

How we wish

to be a part of it
